Business Fitness Consulting International Ltd, and its italian precursor PRConsulting always acted as a "knowledge facilitator" and "knowledge hub", using our own business approach and methodology, along with industry experts, to deliver solutions.
Quite often we developed methodologies for our own customers, to improve the knowledge retention rate and progressively increase the self-reliance of the resources that were seconded from a partner or the customers projects.
With the expansion of our network, we increasingly received requests for advice from organizations that contacted our network; occasionally, this exchange resulted in activities that involved our resources and the new contacts.
To increase the reach of our methods, in 1997 we started building a set of methods and tools for knowledge distribution, and since 1999 we experimented their use with our network and existing customers.
BusinessFitnessMagazine was our initiative to allow the distribution of our methods outside our network, while retaining control of the knowledge, so that we can obtain feed-back from a wider public.
From May 2008, the Magazine is online again, published by Business Continuity Governance Ltd.
Access to the summary of each issue is free.
While the new version of each issue (and new issues) will be published online, all the visitors are invited to read the 2003-2005 edition; the date shown in each article is the original publishing date.
The Magazine was originally issued quarterly, focusing on how to improve the efficiency and efficacy of your operations by clearly identifying which activities should be kept inside your own company, and which could benefit from using external support (consultants, suppliers, etc) or outsourcing.
